It is interesting to learn that a for profit company, which uses many things they gleaned from PLI, has now offered free enrollment to former clients of EmFinders, who has ceased operations. The interesting part is many of the former EmFinders clients were in areas not participating in PLI, therefore, these areas have no ability to track a radio signal.
However, I am sure this won’t slow the company down, as they are pushing a program to place their devices in PLI areas and force PLI members to track their clients with PLI equipment and expertise. They do this knowing, they won’t be refused as a life is on the line.
Isn’t it amazing the measures some will take to make money!
